History with a haunting twist: the Historical Society’s guided hour-long walking tours through the Johnstown Cemetery on Halloween, where costumed guides stop at the graves of local figures and tell their stories. Two tours, at 10 am and 12 pm, with the same stops. Registration is open on the Society’s event page, and each tour has a cap that fills, so book early. $5 for ages 13 and up, 12 and under free with an adult; donations welcome. Costumes are welcome; the cemetery is shaded, so bring a jacket. Park inside the cemetery along its north edge, where volunteers direct, and check in at the Society’s table by the entrance. Most stops follow the cemetery roads and are passable with a mobility aid.
